Lilly in the Studio

Great having Lilly back in the studio today. If you didn’t know we have been working on her new release which has been heavily co-written by The Way's very own Luke Buttery. Luke's fantastic ear for melody, rhythm and style has created some beautiful tracks and I have to say we are quite excited about them. Everyone in the studio got to play something on the tracks, with Lee providing bass, Steve on drums and Robert on guitar.

The style of the E.P. is heavily rooted around classic Motown vibes which saw us getting down with some unusual mic techniques and of course using tape as opposed to Hard Disc recording. Mixing is soon to commence... so stay tuned for these.
