Ive got a Canon

There are just so many good SLR cameras out there these days and it took me a good while to trapes through the reviews of each model such as the Nikon D40 and some of the Olympus's models.

I actually bought the Nikon D60 to begin with, however it did not come with 'live view' which means I couldn't use the LCD screen to take images (something which I find useful, especially when taking photos of a gig).

The Canon EOS D450 was the one I eventually settled with, which is fantastic. Ive only had it a few days, but it feels very comfortable in the hand and its not too heavty. The lenses are very good and at 12.2 megapixels, the quality is superior to the D60. Ive been shooting some picture down on the seafront and in my studio and the results have been amazing. I am shooting in RAW format which allows for a higher degree of manipulation later on.

I also own a Holga Lomo camera which is built of cheap plastic and leaks light in, producing low-fi and interesting images. Ill post some more pictures as I get more to grips with it and also some Holga images when I get time.
