Capelilos Live @ The Barfly

Ive been working with Capelilos for sometime now and we recently finished a bunch of tracks back last year which you can find on their myspace ! They keep coming up with some of the most catchy, pounding and original tunes Iv'e heard in a long while. Working in the studio with them is always good, opting for all playing together live to keep a good feel to the tracks. But it was great at long last to hear these tracks played live. Its always nice as a sound engineer to hear tracks played live which you have been a part of, crafting and working along with the band in the confines of a studio. It's just nice to stand there and not have to be concerned with mic placement or performance.... its totally out of your hands! And... I have to say I really enjoyed it and the place was rocking, they pulled out all the stops and were joined on stage by additional players - there was hardly room to move! I almost feel proud of them ; ) .
